Chào mừng các em học sinh lớp tiếng Việt tại Thiền Viện Bồ Đề năm học 2024 – 2025. Dưới đây là chương trình của buổi lễ khai giảng lớp học.
10:00am Dọn dẹp vệ sinh và sắp xếp bàn ghế các lớp học (Rất cần sự giúp đỡ của phụ huynh và giáo viên các lớp)
11:15am Thọ trai ngoài sân chùa (dùng trưa – không bắt buộc)
12:00pm Các em học sinh tập trung đông đủ tại chánh điện để được thầy cô giáo hướng dẫn.
12:15pm Quý Thầy có đôi lời cùng thầy cô giáo và các em học sinh khai giảng năm học mới 2024-2025.
12:30pm Thầy cô giáo sẽ gọi tên và hướng dẫn các em học sinh về lớp học.
Các em học sinh mới từ 8 tuổi trở lên sẽ được thi xếp lớp.
2:00pm Kết thúc lớp học
Xin lưu ý: Nếu học sinh nào vắng mặt liên tục tại lễ khai giảng 8 tháng 9 năm 2024 và buổi học tiếp theo đó 15 tháng 9 năm 2024 mà không được phụ huynh xin phép với thầy cô giáo thì sẽ bị rút tên ra khỏi danh sách để nhường chỗ cho các em đang trong danh sách chờ đợi (waiting list).
Đính kèm là lịch sinh hoạt mỗi tuần và nội quy của lớp học.

Xin quý phụ huynh vui lòng lưu ý: nếu các em có những triệu chứng ho, sốt, đau cổ họng, vui lòng liên lạc giáo viên chủ nhiệm hoặc thư ký. Phụ huynh cũng nên cho các em ở nhà nghỉ ngơi để bảo vệ các em và cộng đồng xung quanh. Xin cám ơn!

Opening Ceremony of School Year 2024-2025

Dear Parents/Guardians and all Students:
Welcome students of the Vietnamese class at Thiền Viện Bồ Đề in the new school year 2024-2025. Below is the program of the class opening ceremony.
10:00am Clean up and arrange tables and chairs in classrooms. (We really need help from parents & teachers)
11:15am Lunch (optional)
12:00pm The opening ceremony of the new school year will be conducted in the sanctum (the main hall). Students will report to the sanctum under supervision of assigned teachers.
12:15pm The Master is greeting all teachers and students for the school year 2024-2025.
12:30pm Teachers will call names and guide students to the classroom.
New Students 8 years of age and older will have a placement test.
2:00pm Class dismissed
Attention:
Students who do not attend the opening ceremony (on 9/8/24) and the following week’s class (on 9/15/24), without an advanced notice with a reasonable excuse, will be removed from the Vietnamese program this year. This will give the students on the waiting list an opportunity to attend the Vietnamese program.
Below is the weekly Sunday schedule and policy/expectation of Vietnamese class.

Parents please pay attention: if your child has symptoms of cough, fever, sore throat, please contact the homeroom teacher or secretary. Your child should stay home and rest to protect them and the community. Thank you
